yep, online... I decided to go for broke and major in sculpture...it's going to fun doing it online, I tell ya.
But the sculpture programs in my state don't see being able to represent the human body realistically as important...one program even states more or less that whatever the student comes up with is ok with them.
That's not what I'm looking for. I love the human image and want to represent it...but more importantly I am going to go into a program that trains one to become certified to work in forensic drawing and sculpture.
So...maybe one day i can do something good with all this...give a family closure by rebuilding a Jane Doe skeleton's face or help identify a criminal.
I think you chose the right school for that sort of thing. You'll be surprised at how much knowledge you come out with. You should save all the information off the syllabus. I did that for a lot of the classes I took online and it helps to go back and refresh your memory. Things like anatomy have slipped my mind. I figure I paid for it so I should keep it with me forever. Well I hope you're having fun with it, sculpture is really cool, I still have this crazy half monster half human head I did for class, getting dusty somewhere, ha ha
